At the old town of Xanthi, visitors can see buildings with great architecture which represent a major part of the history of the city from the beginning of the 19th century up to nowadays.

Now you are at Orpheus street and also at the entrance of Antika street moving with direction to Mitropoleos Square. On this road you will be able to grasp a taste of the history of the city. However, every street at the old town of Xanthi has something special to show. Therefore you can see traditional, neoclassical, eclectic and even modern buildings. Each of those has its own history behind it and can show different architect. Concluding, through those building you can get a good taste about the history of the town.
