Around the area, the detachments of various, marble bulks from the bedrock can be observed. Let’s consider that all the tasks were completed with the meager technical tools of that time. The detached marble bulks often create artificial pedestals, which today are covered by the sea.
We can also distinguish the classification of the different, proprietary quarries. This is understandable by the untouched, vertical surfaces of the marbles, which determined the limits, from one property to another, as noted in the cited picture
